We worked with a buddy to tell a story. They were imaginative stories. We were encouraged to include descriptive language. This activity was to develop our oral language and vocabulary.
Welcome to Room 22's blog for 2018. We are an energetic Year 2 class and our teacher is Mrs Smaill. We are looking forward to working together and learning lots of exciting and new things this year! Check our blog regularly to see what we have been up to. We would love to read your comments.

MATHS WEEK
During Maths Week, we did some problem solving with a buddy,
using 'Math Talk Moves'.
Together we shared our ideas, recorded our answers,
explained our thinking and gave each other feedback.
We had some very clever ideas and great success!
Go Maths!

ARTS WEEK
During Arts Week, we read a variety of shared books with a Sea Theme. We used these stories to inspire our art creations. |
There are 3-D portholes, showing an underwater scene. Thank you, Mrs Long and Mrs Hobby for all your assistance. |
We also drew colourful Rainbow Fish using pastels and glittery scales. And made beautiful Sea Aquariums. |
