We used a variety of materials to demonstrate different  Fractions, for regions and sets.

Oral Language - Roll-a-Story

We worked with a buddy to tell a story. They were imaginative stories. We were encouraged to include descriptive language. This activity was to develop our oral language and vocabulary.

MATHS WEEK

During Maths Week, we did some problem solving with a buddy, 

using 'Math Talk Moves'. 

Together we shared our ideas, recorded our answers, 

explained our thinking and gave each other feedback. 

We had some very clever ideas and great success!

July Holidays

Recently, we recorded our Holiday Highlights using a visual organiser.

Making Jelly

The ingredients to make Blueberry Jelly.
We used our mathematical knowledge to measure the ingredients,
cooking skills to make the jelly and explored Science principals by
observing the changes of sugar crystals into liquid.
Afterwards we made Beach themed desserts
and learnt about Procedural Text.
